Designer — Manuel Facchini

Manuel Facchini is the Creative Director of Byblos. Originally from Verona, Italy, he has been leading the brand's creative direction since 2022, when he took on the challenge of relaunching Byblos with a refreshed, innovative vision built on technology, contemporary art, sustainability, and experiential innovation.

Aesthetic & Vision

Manuel Facchini's signature is a deeply conceptual aesthetic that fuses seemingly disparate worlds: dark gothic influences with dynamic sportswear; the pulsating beats of electronic music with the imaginative realms of surrealist art — all intertwined with the lively energy of urban life.

The result is a sophisticated, multidimensional visual language that conveys layered narratives through fashion. He often cites Salvador Dalí and surrealism as core references, alongside Alexander McQueen and John Galliano.

Education & Background

Manuel Facchini graduated in Economics and Commerce at the University of Parma before moving to London to follow his artistic calling.

He attended Central Saint Martins, one of the most prestigious institutions for fashion design in the world, where he developed his characteristic approach: drawing inspiration not from other designers but from the entire universe — art, science, architecture, music, and the small details of everyday life.

Byblos under Manuel Facchini

Since 2022, Byblos has embraced a new chapter under Facchini's direction. Sculptural silhouettes, bold textures, and conceptual storytelling define every collection — from SS22 through the most recent SS26.

The brand's "fuori dagli schemi" attitude is a direct expression of Manuel's creative philosophy.
